OSTEOPATHY

Osteopathy is a gentle safe, non-invasive manual therapy that uses hands on techniques to diagnose and treat musculoskeletal conditions. It is based on the principal that the body has the ability to heal itself and  focuses on restoring the body’s optimal function to treat conditions and to promote wellness.

Using many of the diagnostic procedures applied in conventional medical assessment, osteopaths seek to diagnose and treat conditions possible without the use of drugs or surgery.

Osteopaths use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, to relieve muscle tension, to enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms.

Osteopathic treatment is tailored for the individual and the condition being treated, thus making it suitable for the whole family. Osteopathic treatment may help with:

  • circulatory problems, cramp

  • digestion problems

  • lumbago
